OK Mr A$$tuel,
why should I try and help someone who can't be bothered to read the manual? If they're *that* lazy (on a product they must've spent several thousand dollars on?!) are *they* gonna be helping anyone *else* on this forum? I doubt it!

But anyways:
here is me being helpful -
the information the guy wanted is cunningly hidden in the "Multi" chapter of the MPC4000 Reference Manual v1.0 (English edition), on page 127.
It took me approximately 25 seconds to find this (considerably less time than it took me to type a rejoinder to ewe  )

If someone reads that, doesn't understand it, and then asks on the forum for further elucidation of the bit that didn't make sense to them, then sure, fair enough.....
Man look, if it was clear to me in the manual then why would I ask the question. Most of the time if I have a problem I search the manual 1st and then I call akai or post the question, I'm not just going to post a question without trying to figure it out 1st. BTW man just chill out, if what I do offends you just ignore it because it takes more effect to write insults than to just ignore it. Peace.

Wow these multi changes did have improved a lot. Very happy with that.

In reply to the first question: You can also use controller 0 as MSB bank select if you want to switch in the middle of the sequence for whatever reason...

set things up in multi mode as explained above
locate to the position you want to change the multi
in step edit press overdub to insert
select control change
control number 0-Bank SEL MSB
Value is multi off by one (so 0 for multinr 1, 1 for multinr 2, etc..)

cheers!
