Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

Although a new MPC is most likely going to happen, I tend to believe

nothing I hear and half of what I see. When it does come out I hope that

they get rid of that old programming team. There time record for bugs

and features is terrible.

I'll believe when I see it... but "lighter and smaller than the 1k" ??? really? then who will buy a 1k?

AKAI did not abandoned the 4K, we have seen numerous OS releases. Yes, it was because of the bugs but, we have seen added features. AKAI also released an OS udate for the 2000XL last week, a product that came out before the 4000. I don't think any of us have reason to believe AKAI will abandon the 4000 anytime soon.

As for the next MPC being smaller than the 1000, I doubt that. It will most likely be the size of the 2KXL or maybe a little bigger. Possibly with 4 Qlink, 256 MB of RAM max. It's only a guess.

2 years. It took 2 years. Ok abandon might be the wrong word. Hmm.. how about "had their priorities elsewhere". Is that better?
