I think making the new MPcs in the blue colour was a decision made by Numark when they took over.

PS. Kid Captain, that Analyze 12" is dope.

Much respect WDJ, we got a lot of love from cool people because of that record - that's why i use it as my avatar. This forum is like the phantom music school. There's so much knowledge being traded by people you can't see.

P.S.Your avatar is hilarious!

color, who cares about the color. I remember cats would have their 2000s proffessionally painted for all kinds of bread, I just didnt get it.

Much respect Onedependent for rockin those Massinfluence joints, we worked hard. Cyrus, I've never thought of painting my MPC even though, a black-faced drive door would be nice. Painting my equipment is just not my thing, so the way it came will have to do (i'm cool with it).

I'm glad that picture settled some things for those inquiring about the blue 4000. At the end of the day, we're all a different breed of MPC user, no? I think the 4000 is in a class of its own. No matter how much we've paid for it or what colors ours came in, it's all about what we do with it and gain from it. The learning process is still infinite.

I like the black pads myself. I gurantee a few years later the original white 4k will be the shit to have again. If I was a major player even though blue is my favorite color I would paint it black with that purple by forat. But I rather spend my money recording and improving my production. :D
