I have decided to get another mpc4000

LT, You've used a lot of rack samplers, which one do you think is the easiest to use as far as workflow, and the best bang for the buck?

go software.

the rack samples will only slow you down.

i hate them all

That makes sense. I've only tried a borrowed s900, and I hated it. Not a good workflow at all.

getting rid of hardware,
drops like 10 steps from the music making process for me.
I can get more work done, if I stay inside the box.


with software, I can get 3 times as many beats done.

my ratio of good beats to wack beats is about 50/50, no matter what equipment i use.


with software, I get more of the good beats.
also when it come time fro tracking, my beats are already tracked and mixed.

I still love the mpc4000, and i will get another one for Christmas.
