BPM to Sample Units

<forgive me> i archived but didn't find anything readily on this subject.

i got a question : does anyone know a formula for figuring tempo (BPM) to BITS for sampling a LOOP?

i've started a list of the conversions so that when i record ANALOG i can just type in the number and don't have to fool with editing to get a sample to fit within the bar grouping. if anyone has a formula or working list that they wanna help with <thanks!>

these are the tempos i've been working in so far:

for 2 BARS

90 BPM = 235,000
99 BPM = 106,900
133BPM = 79,400

of course you can multiply as needed for added BARS.

When ya go to sample Trim, instead of END, ya can change it to length, time or beat. If ya set it to beat, all ya gotta do's enter BPM and number of beats, like 8 beats for 2 bars, and bam! it's done. If ya change back to length, da 4K'll show ya samples, like 8 beats @ 90BPM = 235,199.

never throw away what you learn that makes people lazy

this damn 4k has made me real lazy in the past couple of months I've had it.

yeah, i'm starting to keep a little graph paper book around with timing so i can get a little more fluent with the programming. i play by ear so the numbers are a new thing for me, trying to teach myelf to doodle out a beat on graph and see how it translates.

i wanna keep at it cause drum and bass seems like it would be easier to write on paper and organize the changes how you need them.
