MPC 4000 Sync prob??????

Hi! I am using Mac g5 os 10.4.11 L8 and cannot get a good firm sync with either Midi clock or MTC.
AMT8i s my Midi unit and i have had MPC2000/xl synced up previously.
Anyone have similar issues?
MTC is awfull. MPC stutters playback and midi clock syncs a few mili secs behind randomly.

I don't use MTC, just Midi Clock, , but I don't use a computer when I make music, but I can say that the 4000 syncs flawlessly to these sequencers....


Doepfer MAQ, Future Retro Mobius, Sequentix P3, MPC 2000XL, Waldorf Q

Have you removed the computer and tried another sync source to make CERTAIN that it's the 4000?

Yeah!
Had many 2000s / xls synced flawlessly I'm suspecting a midi driver / os / L8 conflict as 4000s are undoubtedly robust!
