just bought a 4k so Im going throught the learning curve. A pretty major problem is running it throught my mixer. The connections from the line out arent the same as my mixer so for now Im running it out of the headphone jacks with a cable adaptor which I had lying around. Putting it straight through my mixer sounds terrible though so I just have it going to my amp for the time which sounds better but obviously this doesnt give me as much flexibilty. Anyone know why it sounds so bad or if I can get a cable to run from the outputs that will fit? Will it sound any better?

Bob..Headphone jack and 4K out's are simple 1/4 inch. If you're running out the headphone jack of the 4K...you MUST be using a 1/4. No doubt it sounds like shit going out that headphone jack.

Check again and make sure you're lookin' at things right...this seems odd.

I could imagine you might have rca in's on your mixer...but a 1/4 to rca plug is simple to get..

Also make sure you have the Volume turned up on the 4K
