Akai IB4ADT

have one question:

is this card only alesis adat format or can i use it also with coaxial digital I/O cables?

It just has ADAT in and out ports. You need the spdif card for coax.

Yep, two different format connections. And even if it were a way to connect them, you wouldn't be able to take advantage of the four stereo groups that Adat has to offer.

thx. didnt know there is a s/pdif card for the 4k
