new to 4k

heey wuts good yall.. have one question i just came from 2000 classic to 4k and this is a super advanced machine im gettin it but now im stock on this,i have my melody flowin and now i want to put some drums in top of it whats happenin is that when i load a new program the melody changes to the drums in the same tempo i think this have to be stupid but the mpc just came today...i will apreciate any help...thanks!!

Did a manual come with your 4k? Not that anybody doesn't want to help you, but to avoid the constant questioning about every little detail, we suggest reading that bible that came with it.

But from what you just describe, it sounds like you need to setup or add your sample to a program. This is so that you won't need to change anything.
