This question might sound wierd... here goes anyway.

When I sample from the internal cd drive, it seems lower in volume than when I use any external drive( turntable, cd, tape)

will this make a large difference in the end when I am tracking my beat to a DAW? Can I turn up the levels on each one of the 8 outs ???

thanks

sorry for my ignorance... but, I don't understand.

When I am recording out of the 8 outs.... Can I control the volume by anything or is it going out at the same volume as It was sampled in?

send it to output 1-8 normalize it if its still low, send it to a compressor then out to 1-8, and keep cranking the compressor till your speakers blow if you want :)

But ya the output is only going to send how much you put into it, and till the point it overloads whatever its going into before it distorts

You can turn up the volume on the daw to fine tune it
