Quick Newbie Question

Just got the 4k, it is a beast. I just found it curious that when I hit the pads with one finger it seems to do a double hit but with two fingers (more pressure) it produces a single hit. Is this normal? What is your method for adjusting between the two?

its normal, need some practice to get it working like you want.

i do a lot of "live drumming" on the mpc and very rare i get doubletriggers. but you are right, the pads are VERY sensitive compared to the other mpc serie.

the only way afaik to change the pad behavior is to go to the pad velocity page and change the % rate.

This also occurs when you have "full" selected as well. But yeah, check that pad sensitivity adjustment.

I looked for a sensitivity screen, I thought it would be under global but I didn't see it. How do you get to the sensitivity screen?
