Hello mpc dudes. Hope you can help me. I used to have an mpc 2000. sold it a few years ago for an mpc 4000. I now want to get into my old mpc 2000 songs. i attached a usb zip drive to my mpc 4000 and inserted my old mpc 2000 zip disks. Loaded the .ALL files and the .APS files. it seemed to load fine - apart from always saying Item(s) Renamed (207) - when loading .ALL files.
However when i press play - it is f*cked! It seems to pitch up or down the note in step edit. Crazy. Not just to one session but to all. That information is held in .ALL files, so they must not be coming over to the MPC 4000 very well.
Has anyone experienced this at all?
