AKSys. Bad Character in file names

anyone use aksys to transfer files over to the 4k I'm having issues with too many files having bad characters names having wrong characters in their name, is there any way around this or what have you guys done in the past, this is for libraries made for akai for the Mpc Series man I don't want to have to delete the troublesome characters form the name of every last audio file in order for this to work.

try burning your files to cd,
and then load them into the mpc from the cd drive.

I think the mpc will auto-convert the bad chatracters
