frustrated!

i have been working on a new beat for 2 hours. I decided I needed more sounds, so i loaded up. Little did I know that I loaded in an old sequence over my new beat. Two hours of work down the drain!

I feel your pain, I did it a long time ago, and tried to recreate the music it never turned out the same

when loading sounds to work u have work in progress use the view option and change to sample files and this wont happen to .... as with all pc type equiptment pay attention cause u can have this mistake with any piece of equiptment not just the mpc

This happened to me also. If you load new program make sure that load "MULTIs+PROGs+SAMPs+SEQs" is NOT selected or it will clear out the entire memory. Instead select load "PROGRAMS". This will leave everything in tact.

saving often is a good solution too (and on any electronic-computerish machine....)
