What`s a Sequencer 2nd Edition by Greg R. Starr is a great buy. It is a great basic guide on using sequencers. And very easy to understand. Give it a go! :D

No I don`t hmmn; however, since most of us have to teach ourselves to use the MPC thru self-study. I believe that a basic quide on the usage and history of sequencers with help pros and beginners understand their sometimes arcane Akai manuals better. The more you understand the better you can use the machine. It a great basic guide on sequencers which the MPC is one of the best hardware sequencers for making music live or in the studio. Check is out :D
