Creating Tracks in MPC 4000

So i'm setting up default sequences up in my MPC 4000 and what I have done is create for example an INTRO sequence with 8 default tracks so far; Kick, Hi-Hat, Tom, Crash, Misc Drum 1, Misc Drum 2, Misc Drum 3, Misc Drum 4, etc.. I have also created other sequences like CHORUS and VERSE with the same default tracks. Is this a good way to be setting up my tracks? I'm trying to go about doing this the right way.

Alright, since I have you guys here let me ask you a few more questions.

1. Should I save these default sequences in a root folder called sequences?

2. How do you guys organize your files? /sequences, /sounds, /songs?

3. Another question I have is related to midi and programs. When I have my track setup I have its out set to OUT A, program 1, device 1. I have renamed my device 1 to MOTIF XS since it is my keyboard. So now when I setup say a DRUM track I have the Program_Chg field. When I have this set to off and I go and record a midi sequence I have the midi triggering the right sound from the keyboard. Now if I select a different sound from the keyboard and I playback the same sequence I have a different sound coming out which I know will happen because midi is just on/off notes. How do I get each sequence to correlate to its own sound? Do I need to set up each sound as a program and then for that track set the right program? An explanation of this would be great. Thanks.

I see you are newbie and I'm like more advanced newbie . The way I do things on MPC 4K looks like this: 1st I read manual , then I work for about month or two, then I read manual again, and now as I worked month more I'm planning to read it again. Why is that so? 'Cus MPC 4000 have lots of features and it's impossible to remember it all in once before you start working on it and what is more you have to read manual to start working on it.
Like clint said it is good to do reasearch, look around, read a lot and think, think, think.

Thats what I have been doing. I'm just curious as to what you guys do, meaning the experienced users. I have been reading the manual and all of the earlier versions of the manual. Just wondering.
