memory question

does the chips i put in have to match like can i out in a 256mb with a 128mb chip for 384mb...

... sholuld be possible! if you got one ram thing for 256 it should be possible tos stick in there another one! i got 512! when i opened the 4k i saw that there were 2 chips in there!

... sholuld be possible! if you got one ram thing for 256 it should be possible tos stick in there another one! i got 512! when i opened the 4k i saw that there were 2 ram spaces to plug in 2 chips! in my case there are 2 256 ones in there! but make sure your 256 ain't to chips for 128 each! in that case it won't work!

and sorry for posting twice! ... just happened!

can i have different capacities like 1. 256mb and 1. 128meg for a total of 384 until i can get my other 256 chip
and could i have the specs that work to make sure i do it right

added the 128 mg to the 256 and got 400meg(still added the 16 onboard)
