Why is it when I sample something and slice it up it only plays on one pad when I try to make a track with my samples. How do I get my sample spread across every pad when I'm in sequence mode like it is when I am setting my regions

use keygroups instead of drum programs

dunno whether i got your point but if you're talkin bout a drumloop or so which you slice up in pieces in region field, then you need to press edit, scroll over to slice sample, create a program (and if you want a seq) and your sliced samples are assigned to the new program!

Nope the 4000 doesnt uses the 16 level for teh pads. that only changes the velocity. use the keygroup....i know its a hasle but you have to do it

i believe he's talking about the different chops...not different pitches.

Once you've set up your regions, go to edit - slice sample - create new program: yes - create new sequence: no (up to u, but if you're replaying the chop differently say no.) - do it - multi - make sure new program is assigned - main sequence window - etc etc....
