Whats up mpc 400 fam........Here's the deal, I loaded up a folder that has a song with 4 sequences, I went to the main page to play the song and there were no programs assigned to the tracks, I had to put them there myself........Is there a better way I can load up a song with everything in place like I saved It.................

sup killa,
if u save entire memory ,or save a multi and all song&seq evey thing should load fine. i u use save entire mem make sure u set it to replace same files, and its wise purge unwanted sample to hd space.
just load up the mutli (with samples&progs)the all seq&song file.selct the right multi if more than one in mem in the multi page and that should be fine.

OH yeah......What about the zones....Is there a way for me to save my zones also? Because sometimes when I load a song up to complete it I forget sometimes on how I had my drums layered and everthing.......

sup killa,
zones are saved inside ur programs there no option for this. . all samples and progs should load as saved, if u save mutli and containing the sampes & progs. this is all coverd in the manual as well bro.

My zones are not loading right..... For example in a sequence on track one I will have a kick layered with three other sounds, when I first start making my track, but when I come back to finish my song it doesn't load up the kick like I had it when I first started making the song, I have to go in to the zone window my self and manually do it......... Am I doing something wrong when I save my music...

mmmmmm killa, i dont know why thats doing that if u make sure u save ur multi or entire mem, make sure its with programs and samples ,and to replace same files, cause mabye ur not overwriting ur programs when saving to a previous version of a song?
do u save every tune in a differnet folder in a song folder on ur hd .?

A word on saving. When saving entire memory never set the "replace same files" to no. I had a shitload of samples saved that I didn't want to resave to the folder so I selected "no". I didn't think about the fact that the seq and multi changes wouldn't be saved because I already had an earlier version saved in the folder. Always select yes for the replace same files option.

When I save my songs I don't use the save entire memory or replace samples....... I just save the multi with the programs and samples and use the "Save all sequences and data function"..............thinking that will work!!!!!!!
