Updating 4000's OS through USB?

My less then a week old MPC4000le came with OS version 1.33 installed and i want to update it to the latest version. I do not yet have a CDrom installed in my 4000 so the only way I could transfer data is through the usb cable.

Can I do it this way? I went to akai's website and they dont give any instructions on how to update the os and the manual certainly doesnt say anything.

guess i didnt look hard enough, I see now there is a utility for updating the OS via USB on the Akaipro site, sorry
