I personally don't like the arbitrary -100..100 value range of many of the MPC 4000 parameters, especially if there isn't any musical sense linked to it.
For example, if I wan't to do some exact (half tone) pitching via QLINK, who can tell me, how these parameters are thought to be used. My ear is not that good to detect exact intonation.
Setting the range from 0..100 and cranking the Qlink all way up doesn't give you a multiple of one octave. Somehow, that's strange!
