how to update the OS?

i downloaded the 1.71 OS version .put it in a USB card... can somebody tell me what's the next step... how do you update it in the machine?

excuz me francophon i have the same probleme you had ...when i conect the pc with the mpc the OS loader doesnt run cuz he doesnt recognize the mpc ...how did you do finaly?

u need the usb driver too.

il te faut les usb drivers

va sur http://www.akaipro.com/contentmgr/showdetails.php/id/1119/tt/5 (c'est le 5eme du bas)

aprés tu devrais puvoir lancer os laoder et choisir le nouveau os
