YEA, who would want to pay $2000.00+ if they had RESON? I have reason. Its inside my computer. It came with the computer when i bought it.WHY NOT TRY FRUITY LOOPS? OR EVEN PS2 MUSIC MAKER?OR HOW ABOUT ACID?I HEARD ON FUTUER PRODUCERS THAT SOME REAL PROS MAKE MONEY WITH THEM,GOOD ENOUGH FOR PROS, GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME.but what i really want to use is NANOLOOP for gameboy. PEE'S OUUUUUUUT.

If I were you i would listen to my favorite group and find out what they are using Reason, FL, or Casio. And oh yeah swing means swing timing.

Heh, the funny part is, everyone is telling you to stick with Reason which is the truth, but we still wouldnt give up our 4ks for Reason :)

I dunno if I'm the only one, but I lust to hit that 4k power button every morning when I wake up, can't say I'm that really attached to anything else

man if u get the 4k u will not really use reason ... to us its the feel and the way we work..reason is the truth-but myself that pc shit aint me only time i use the pc is to alter sounds beyond the capabilities of the 4k then the sound goes right back to the 4k...and also just to have akai sys there just in case i wanna sit back and edit (and smoke one) but other than that im all 4k i dont use any other keyboard or modules my 4k is all i need(plus sound forge) i can achieve any keyboard sound set... but if u got reason and 4k reason will be a back up tool u would use to assist the 4k im not able to post my tunes(legal issues) but the nicest work i heard on here is by a dude name kabb check his post and listen to the magik u can achieve

I've used Reason, FL and all that software ish... I copped an MPC cause I was plain ass tired of using a computer for everything. I use a computer at work all day....I don want to come home and use a computer all night. That carpal tunnel syndrome will kill ya fo real. I will occasionally bounce a sound from the MPC to PC and back again, but not often.

ya you could always work the 2 togethor, use reason as a sound module or the mpc as a sound module, lock the sequencers up

Best of both worlds
