MPC or MV-8000??

I am trying to figure out what I should but. An akain MPC (2000xl,4000) or a Roland MV-8000. I am going to be using it for Hip-Hop and Trip-Hop. My main concern is the sound, I want the right box for the right hip-hop sound. Dose anyone know if the MV-8000 is at all good for Hip-Hop. If not which is better the 2000xl or the 4000?

As far as I remember from the specs the 4k has better sound, considering you can work in 24 bit sound as opposed to just 16 bit on the MV.

I think the roland products are just cheap MPC knockoffs.
