Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

Hello..i just copped the Akai MPC-4000, and i'm already a MPC user (MPC-3000)
Well...i just made a sequence in the main sequence window!
And let's say the whole loop is only 2 bars.
Then i'm going to the songmode...where u can put the sequences together.
So the exact sequence i want to repeat it 2x, but the second time isn't running well.
Seems like there's a off-sync/latency when the second part comes.
And i really don't know what this problem is.
I reprogrammed the whole sequence...and still i'm having this problem!
Anyone having this problem and knows what i should do?

Please help a brother out.

Thnx

sup chu,
welcome to the forum,
are u running 1.51? if not upgrade to it asap.
but i guess u already r cause it sounds like the reset qlinks on seq change problem.
so go to the misc menu and turn "reset qlinks on seq change" to "OFF"
reset qlinks was only implemented in os 1.51 and when turned to on it causes a timmning prob cause it overloads the sequencer with midi commands when changing seqs........

heres a link to os's and ref manual/addendums/ak.sys and system ex docs

http://www.arbitermt.co.uk/index_akai.htm

hope this helps
