Tips for getting better on your mpc 4k that help me
sometimes it is better use learn what all of those buttons do on your
unit by guesswork, pure inspiration and working with other gear and
reverse engineering back to the 4k even if this means a little time away
from the forums. Time from the forums can give you time for
personal growth to discover new things, insights and capabilities that
a person might not even know one had.

Sure the purpose of a forum is to exchange and to seek out help when
needed. At same time learning the 4k unit on your own, trusting your insticts will
take you further than you thought possible. That way coming
back to the forum means you are bringing someti
e to contribute giving back.

We receive and give back to a healthly, vibrant 4k forum and personal development.

One other thing too concerning this you can understand that
there are many ways of using the 4k and it is capable
of many uses but we the users of the 4 have to also find our
own way also.

That is what a little time from the forums bring to the users
time to learn and to make music.

Always leave and come back better than you left the forums. And share
with your fellow 4k users what you learned. Power up your 4k, develop your craft,
and master your doubts.

Play on fellow 4k users the mpc 4000 is as capable as any other
in the hands of the users.

Downtime is good every now and then!!

Sorry for the typos this was done on my iPhone.

Within the forums it is very important to remember that there is no one way of doing things there are many ways of doing things especially concerning the mpc 4k. Each person develops a style and a workflow thus the more downtime off the net you have the more discoverys of what works for you one can find.

So it is important to remember if you spend alot of time on the forums and someone has a different way of working and they post a new way of using the mpc or new ideas one shouldn`t take it personally as an attack on you. It is unproductive to shout or insist that your way is the only way other doing something. Or get trap into thinking someone`s else's way is the only way to work. Actually it is better to borrow ideas from each other and make it ours by using the downtime off the forum, working on your 4k and incorporating your our ideas through trial and error then alas your are adding back to the forum productively.

We help each other in order to help ourselves to grow. So to grow we must be able to give sometime back better than before.

The controversy was resolved and the thread was taken down for a clean slate. The original OG thread will be reposted with the original name and theme of internal midi routing and the 4k. I`m still unpacking though sorry for the wait (I got to remember to connect all my external wiring plus get rid of what I don`t need you know rearrange the studio too. Good news is there will be no more deleting on the forums. 8)

Clint made his thread with the point that his thread is universal hence he has it in the mpc studio environment plus I believe there is a version of it in the 4k bible if I remember right.
