Problem with stretching and BPM's

Last night I was trying to make a beat. I was timestretching a sample to a specific BPM - 85. I was trying have the sample loop correctly in a 2 bar sequence, but it was a bit short of 85 BPM. I think I had to jack up the BPM's on the sequence to around 90 for it to work. I tried using adjust, that didn't work, as well as different timestretching presets. Also the number of beats was correct. Is there a way to timestretch to the exact BPM that you want? Is there any other way than just trial and error? Any help on this will be appreciated!

fuggedaboudit! Figured it out! On the BPM match page I had to put my sample on either loop or region rather than trim to get a good accurate timestretch.
