Writing a Book on the MPC 4000

I'm in the process of writing a book on the MPC 4000, to cover in plain language, how to use it. I see that there are a lot of newb questions out there about the 4000, and NOT a SINGLE book written! Go figure!

Good luck.

A few places to start research, the MPC4000 addendums, the MPC4000 Reference manual, the ak.Sys manual and the S950 manual. And of course the newbie bible.

Also the tricks and tips thread also. When you complete the book talk with Tutor to see what you can work out. Plus check with Feline on the correction he made on the PDF manuals. We are looking forward to your book. Much success.

The S series manuals were better written. Plus, Keygroup programming and function really hasn't changed.

the s950 manual has a very succinct descrpition of how to set up key groups

Yeah I've been looking for a book on the 4k.. it would be nice if this wasnt a fail and I could actually own a 4k manual to bring to the washroom... to much info? lol..

Its more a "for Dummies" for the MPC 4000 that a manual, but it should be easily at home in "The Throne room".

i thought there already was a book about the 4k. THE MANUAL. If you can't figure out how to use an MPC from the manual, this site, and youtube, you're a moron.

Please give this a chance as the writer is talking about techniques not about which button does what function. We have many tutorials on other mpcs as you can see on your right side from the mpc1000 to the mpc2000xl which I myself used the xl version which is really good. This is not intended to replace the manual but more of a guide on how to get more useage out of the 4k and give those beginning, intermediate and maybe advanced users some tips and assistance in explaining some ways to use the 4k.

On that note I don`t think anyone`s a moron to have information in a hardcover guide that they can take with them where ever they go. It is the users choice.

yo if u need some help writin that shight i can help man for very low prices im good as FUKK at writin shight like books, essays, letters, shight like dat. i wont charge 2 much but a good reasonable price.. i no a LOT bout the 4000. so i could just rite some chapters n message it to u throught ya inbox.. i no a lot bout the 4000, i musta seen like, 4000 youtube videos bout the mpc 4000!!!!!
