I FINALLY GOT ONE!!!

It's been out for a few years, and I've been eyeballing' it all the way, but I finally got my MPC-4000! I lucked up at Guitar Center of all places. I went to visit the newest store in my area, and saw it on the wall for $1500 used- including the CD-ROM & hard drives.

Kinda glad to be official here now, and get rid of the personal embarrassment of not having one, especially after helping to get the ball rolling.

When u got the mpc 4000, on the display was there any kind of clear sticker or cover protecting it, the reason i ask is that whrn i got a new mpc 4000 (apparently) from turnkey, the screen had no protection on it and it was marked pretty bad.

Nope, just the glass itself. I gave it the once-over (checking out the screen, buttons, sliders and knobs) and messed around with it before calling over a salesperson.
