my ibm drive finally went on my 4000 i was wondering if you can use a western digital internal hd or were can i get one at a good price
Skip the western digital (although it is compatible), and insteafd get a seagate barracuda.
I installed a 120GB Seagate barracuda (forget the model #, you can search the 4k forum for it) years ago and it's been silent since. Still haven't filled 1/2 of it.
