Can't Get my 4k to Load .wav???

I bought some .wav files and loaded them on to a separate CD and when I put them in my CD drive, they don't show up on the MPC 4k. I rechecked the CD again on my computer and they are there. What gives?

Try to transfer them to the MPC from the PC via akSys. There could be a problem with the CD drive in the MPC.

It could be also that the CD has a wrong formatting

the easiest way to transfer files is
a) USB memorystick
b) Aksys software

make sure they are the right sample rate and bit rate. All WAVs are not the same

make sure its a data CD and not an audio CD

Yesterday I ran into a similar problem strangely too. So I drop the . Wav tag off the samples and they all loaded up into 4k smoothly after that go figure.
