Poly, Mono, Note Off Feature on 4000

I've had my MPC 4000 for 2 months now and for the life of me, I can't figure out how I assign my samples to be "Mono" samples like on my MPC 2000.

I want to be able to trigger a sample, let it play and then trigger it again from the start (without "poly" overlapping).

In the Trim Mode, there is "one shot", "loop" and "no loop", but no Mono mode. What's up?

Mono = One shot

Push PROGRAM->KG MIX->PITCH and set the Poly to 1.
