MPC 4000 LE problems! Can't install driver to use usb!

I just got the mpc 4000 le and I am having trouble installing the driver so my computer can recognize the mpc so I can use the usb functions to install the new os.

But is that the steps?

1. installing driver
2. installing ak.sys
3. installing os through usb

is that the way?

Make sure you load the inf and sys file into the WINDOWS directory.

Make syer the hardware is recognised first by:
Right click on my computer,,,,
the choose manage
And then look for MPC4k usb,, if it aint there,,, your pc didnt dedect the hardware.

Make sure you first connect the usb cable, and then turn on the mpc.
