Link not working for me.

But the 9 minute video Tyrone refers to shows Digga stretching and chopping the theme tune from Different Strokes and making a quick beat with it on the MPC4000.

Yes Im psychic... ???

Basically with the right tools to change the sample to how you like it. You can then spit it back into the mpc 4k and do as you wish from there. I like Digga too and I`m a fan of his site. Adding to that a good video on the direct technique he use to stretch it first before he chop it up on the 4k helps too.

I myself don`t have melodyne or the Roland Variphase that Digga uses but ableton it just as good.

Alot of tools are used to get the sample right before he but it in the 4k.

That is great. Digga gives a good conception on what is important to do. And I can only imagine with the VP 9000 you put a phrase in there and crank the ***** out of it and spit it back into the mpc or whatever sampler you are using. Creative tools.

Live works as well.

Export as a loop and chop in the 4k.

LT how is that shuttle or groove function on the VP9000? From that video it sounds like a 90`s swing pattern when that tutor swung that straight 8th drum loop.
