I got this sample with a really high pictched string in it, anybody know the best way to filter it out without affecting the rest of the intruments too much?

That actually made me laugh... Nice. Anyways, if the string sound you want is higher pitched than the rest of the music you should be in luck. You want to stop the highs and let the lows through, so use a low pass filter. Hope it works for you. And your nuts.. Peace.
