HD Backup for the MPC 4000

Hey Guys I want to start from scratch and really clean out my MPC 4000. My goal is to just have good clean samples and keep it organized. But i have a lot of songs and sequences that I need to Backup first though. So what's the best way to do this. I have my mpc4000 hooked up to aksys so the question is... Can I just copy the mpc 4k HD to a folder or to an external HD hooked up to my Computer (Lacie d2)or do I have to Copy each song one at a time.

O would love to Initialize my mpc 4000 HD but i need to save everything that is on it right now to another disk.

Ya can't copy direct from HD to HD on da 4K, ya gotta load a song in RAM and save it to a folder on the other HD or to CD-R.
If ya're usin' AKSYS, ya can drag/drop a folder of da 4K HD to a 'puter HD.
