i dont have 8 outs.. any ideas without buying an 8 out board??? scsi?? 
scsi is used for loading and saving data

AdAt is expensive too.sync you machine up to the daw ect and track out individually.multi tracking..

I found it to be painful too. You can make all arrangments in SONG mode so you can have all the parts you want in one track, then just copy & paste and you are set.
