MPC 4K ADAT OPTION?

I recently installed adat option in my blue 4k and it works fine only problem is im getting major feedback from my monitors if i turn the digital out sync to digital in or wordclock?? adat in and internal no feedback so im curious if thats normal also using PT digi 003?

Are you getting feedback or a noise burst?

i guess you can call it a noise burst sounds more like what im hearing.kinda like to signals fighting but only when i turn it too digital in or wordclock, im using internal and theres no problem there just want o know if this something to be concerned about?

Not to call you dumb or anything BUT.

Why are you turining it to Digital IN or Wordclock?
-Do you have something feeding them a signal?
-Is it set for the correct properties to match the 4k or that the 4k can even understand?

When you change thesettiong you are asking it to lock to an external digital clock, so you need it to be present and of the proper format.

Some devices won't lock to anything but the correct signal while some others try to but get the noise burst based on the incorrect aspect.

set your external source to adat..

Can you give a routing config on how everything is hooked up digitally?

i was hoping i could get the settings from some of the members here thats using adat w/PT digi 003, i took a screen pic but i dont know how to post it also im hearing friction when i power up my mpc but only if i have PT on without PT its sounds normal so i guess thats where the problem is!
