Listening to Regions

Hi guys, first just want to say thank you for all the info on these forums, i learned a lot from it using the mpc 4000.
A question I have is that when you make your regions while editing them can you listen to each region separately?? I press the pads after i make the regions but each pad just starts the whole sample from the beginning, I want each pad to play each region while i edit them so everything can be perfect before i put it in to a new program......hope this makes sense, and thanks for the help.

The manual is your friend too. Check pages 75-76 in owners manual.

It`s all good I`m in a similar situation now with maschine. I`m taking my time though no beatmaking hitting pad, button, and knob along with the reference manual. I just got it yesterday. Patience is the key even though I couldn`t get external sync with the mpc to work (most likely something I didn`t set up it will all be clear in time. Just it is my lesson learned from the first mpc I had to take my time and learn the machine before rushing off into a beat. It will pay off in the long run. Reading the manual and I got a pdf damn I can`t wait for my ebook reader to arrival (iPad) to help learn this gear.
