Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

I been hearing that I can turn a sequence into a sample.....but I can't find that ish in the manual once again. I'm frustrated but I need to get this down...anyone know the proceedure[/color]

Did somebody mention a record sample feature....
thread right here in the 4000 forum.  Also, you can slice loops and it will automatically assign the slices to individual pads in a new program.  Check out the earlier threads.... lots of answers there![/color]

Thanks EarthMorph. Listen I went ahead and turned the sequence into a sample so I'm flying on that. And in the other case where we may want to record a sample in on the fly, i.e. a scratch, vocal part, or record sample, while a sequence is playing, we would leave the input set to external and hit record(sample record) while the music is playing. Guess I caught a glitch on that one the first time around. Good sh*t thank again.[/color]
