CD recording?

I am thinking about getting an MPC 4000 but just read that to record to cd basically u have to sample your whole track. is there another way to record to cd? is there an external cdr/w that u can hook up through the usb and record in audio?

Man If you want to record to CD, just buy an external audio CD writer?!

There is really no need to get this implemented in the OS..

ok that's all i was asking, i never mentioned getting it implimented to the OS. if you read my question i just asked can i use an external cdr/w and if so would it be easily hooked up like through the usb port or if i would need some kind of other equipment.
