the sound that monitors give ?

is it important to have good monitor to accurately hear your music on the 4000 I thinking about getting some cause i am using a guitar amplifier now

If you are recording your music yes it is very important.

However, if you are using it live or you are going to a pro studio with an engineer just get a decent pair with bass.

A gtr amp? How do you mix your track than?

I really recommend you some speakers! Studio monitors or cheap-ass stereo speakers.. everything will be better than a gtr amp!!

If youve got the money, ill recommend Genelecs or Mackies.

Monitors and the acoustics of the room are very important to get a good translation to other speakers. I have Mackie 624's in a apartment. The monitors are good but my room is lacking.

damn dude, a guitar amp is more or less for midrange shiat, you wont be getting any of the highs properly and a wacked out muddled bass.
