Internal hard drive not reading at startup!!!

Hello people. Please if anyone can help with this issue. My internal hard drive is not loading, meaning there is "no disk" in the load menu after startup, meaning I can't find/load any of my songs! I'm sweating bullets right now. Any tips/startup commands anyone knows?! Thanks for your time

Possible stale connection & you may need to reseat the hd cable. If that doesn't work then the drive is probably shot.

Hey thanks. I think it might be a connection issue because it does make the same sound when starting up but It kinda shits out. How do I reset the hard drive cable? Don't understand. Any links to proper schematics and instructions?
