Brand new 4000 worth

How much do you think a brand new full blown 4000( white and purple and it has all the options in it) is worth with a 60 gb hd and a 256 mb of ram is worth. I think it has the original hard drive that it came with also. I heard those IBM desk stars went bad so Im thinking it would have to be replaced.

I would say anywhere from a $1000-$1200

I just watched a white 4k w/512 mb ram & 60 gig hd go from $560 to the sold price of $935 in less than 15 min on a live auction on ebay.

And I think the number of bidders went from 17 to 27 in that same length of time too.

There was one dude trying to sell a brand new MPC4000 Plus on Ebay for like $1895 and another dude selling the same for $2395. Those are some crazy prices. I missed an opportunity on Ebay acouple of weeks ago for a mint MPC4000 going for $799. I didn't have the cash at the time.

It seems like there going for some good money. I heard those are the king of mpcs?

Yeah, I'm noticing simular prices coming up like that around there lately. I guess katz are desperate to get their hands on some cold hard $.

Hard times indeed! I bought mine off CL responding to an ad for $1150 asking the cat to hold out because I only $900. Dude called me 3 days later and said come get it for $800, he needed to pay his rent! Life's a **** but it's keep the MPC's moving...
