I got a mpc4000 and im trying to set up and sync my midi. im trying to sync it with my yamaha motif. can sombody please help me on this.

my set up goes as i have my mpc4000 and i have a yamaha motif and protools digi003 and i connect my mpc and my motif with a m-audio midi 2x2 midi sport interface. the problem im having is syncing i use to work with my mpc3000 and it was pretty straight forward with the syncing. im new with the mpc4000.
