can you chop more than 32 slices equally?

if not can you chop more of the sample and add to the program on bank C,D,E,F?
how is this done?

In my opinion I would split the sample into 2 samples or more and cut each 16 equal 2x. Kind of makes for an easier cutting exp. If there's a specific reason you want more than 32 (nano edits or something similar) I'd like to know if it could be done. I don't think you can though. But my 4000 isn't here yet

i'm new, but i don't think so. you have to chop the sample in half like dude said and then chop each of those halves or however you wanna do it like that. 32 is the most chops @ one time i think.

that's kinda weak too. the mv can chop 96 slices.

ok.. so lets say i took my sample and chopped it in half and programmed the first 32 to bank A and B.. how do i add the second 32 to C and D so that theyre part of the same program

Just use ReCycle and export to .akp and .mid if you want to keep the original sample's swing.

i'm not really sure, but i briefly read something about merging programs, maybe that's how? of course you could just use the pad assing button and individually do it like that, but that's not as convenient as making a program out of the chops.

Don't be lazy. Go to program, zones page, hit the pads and turn the wheel like we do on all mpcs. Just do as the guy said before. Just number the samples so you can put them in order.
