How to change pitch in 4k

Yo,
I wondering How I can change pitch +/- in MPC 4000.
I mean like 16 levels but change automatic pitch(by MPC):
pad 1- LOW(slow, -)
pad 16- HIGH(fast,+)

when you press the 16 levels button change the assign section where it says "velocity" and change it to "tuning" it will change the tuning according to the value you enter and bring different tunings to the 16 pads. Also in the 'program' window you can select 'kg mix' and then tune each individual drum sound.

just dont go to kg mix while the sequencer is playing, the 4000 acts retarded.
