Setting sample start/end points with the Q-Links.

Hello folks.

I have always been curious about this feature of the 4000.

Specifically, how well does it work in practice? You find yourself using q-links to set start/end points more often than the data wheel?

Works well in practice.

Using the Q-links is much faster at locating points within a sample, the jog dial is used for better accuracy once you get there.

Maybe stupid question but how do you do that? Whenever i use q-link on trimming a sample it slides very slow (like more for
fine tuning..)
How do i set the q-link to manipulate start/end points in a normal way?

Yeah, same here. I also have the 2500 with the jjos and that works fine !

Anybody ?

It's only usable for fine tuning in terms of a few samples.

In my case it's the other way around. I use the jog dial for locating points and then i can use the q-link for fine tuning.
