8 outputs desire.....

Hey yall what's up?? I did some research on the 8 ouputs option for the MPC 4000 and found out that it is Functional on the Mpc2000Xl with that being said, i just wanted to know if anyone on here has experience with this situation but instead using the 8 output board from the 2000xl inside the 4000? ? Will this work? anyone knows? thanks....

You have been misinformed. The 8 outputs for the MPC4000 are 24bit. The MPC2000XL OS and hardware are not designed to support this. The same holds true in the case of trying to install the MPC2000XL's 16bit outputs in the 24bit MPC4000.

Okay... Tanx man... just heard about this,,, but you do make alot of sense where this is concerned.... trying to Cop a mpc 4000.. switching over from both a 2500 and a 2000xl whats your MPC?

I recently made the switch from both an MPC2000XL and MPC2500 to the MPC4000.
