HI!
I wonder how I can hook MPC 4000 and computer.
I mean how i can hook up MPC to USB and choose DAW program->REC->and sounds from MPC will be automaticly save in this program, when i play on pads?
And which wire I must hook it up?
How can I do it?
And anothwer question:
I have Windows 7 Home(64x and 86x),when I plug in MPC to USB(by slave port)I hear that computer see my MPC,but I can't install drivers(lampdog wrote in another topic short instruction, but it doesn't work),even when I choose directory where drivers are computer can't install this,so I cant sync MPC and for example FL Studio in together.
Sorry for my English and language mistakes, but I'm from Poland.

Props,thanks in advance

The MPC4000 doesn't do audio over the USB connection. You can only transfer files to and from the MPC over it - like songs, multis, samples etc.
If you want to get the sound from the MPC into your DAW, you will have to record it by using the audio outputs from the MPC, and recording those into the sound card of your computer - the old fashioned way!

The USB connection is actually only for the program "ak.sys" (from Akai: https://www.akaipro.com/mpc4000 ), which allows you to see the files on the MPC harddisk, and some other stuff. Through that program you can transfer for example new samples to your MPC, or backup files from the MPC to your computer.
